The Council’s Governing Board is comprised of each bishop and/or executive leader of the 23 denominational governing bodies. The Board meets two times each year. In addition, the Ohio Council of Churches Foundation supports the accomplishment of our vision and mission. The Foundation is entrusted with the fiduciary responsibilities of our endowment and investments. Its' Board of Trustees consists of representatives from the 23 judicatories. The Council enjoys productive and meaningful relationships that create partnerships with Christian and interfaith organizations as well as civic agencies. In fact, our table has expanded to converse with all who are committed to advancing the common good.
The Reverend David Long-Higgins

The Rev. David Long-Higgins is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. He serves as the Conference Minister of the Heartland Conference of the United Church of Christ which includes Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and West Virginia. He is based in the Columbus metropolitan area.
The Reverend Adam Sornchai

The Rev. Adam Sornchai is the Pastor at St. John Lutheran Church Cardington, Ohio Pastor Sornchai was born and raised on Long Island, NY. His father is from Thailand and late mother was from Iowa, giving what he has always felt to be the gift of a unique and diverse background. Pastor Adam Sornchai was ordained and installed as pastor of St. John on June 24th 2011. Pastor Sornchai attended seminary at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
